I couldn’t find the right details for Agoda’s main HQ so posting this under the London Office. My experience with Agoda has been dreadful. Trying to find a number to speak to Customer Services is nigh on impossible. There appears to be neither telephone number or email on their website that is UK related. I managed to find a number I called a few months ago relating to a booking I made (which I subsequently cancelled), less said about that…It went through an overseas call centre. The adviser was helpful but was unable to sort out my issue – I wanted to delete my account. They advised downloading the app, which I did and signing out of it. This did not help. So, my details are still on their website, which I’m not happy about. Next time I need to book a hotel room I’ll book directly with the establishment and won’t ever be using Agoda. These huge corporations are like a black hole, to be avoided at all cost. I gave it one star so my review would be saved, but it doesn’t merit it.

If everything goes right, Agoda is an option like any other! But as every business, you can’t tell about it when the things go wrong and I did for me unfortunately! I made a booking via Agoda, the booking cancelation policy was no refund and it was one day prior my arrival to the hotel (Best Western Hotel City Center). I was in Amsterdam with my husband on our way to Brussels! We were advised that morning that there was a strike in the public transport service. This was less than 24h after we made our booking via Agoda. The first thing that we did was to call the hotel, that informed that they couldn’t do anything and we need to rely on Agoda to solve this for us! So we did it! The lady was really nice, but said that she would call the hotel, then a few hours later there we received the answer that the hotel couldn’t either postpone the booking or cancel it! We contacted the hotel that didn’t change their position and as a result of it, we needed to pay for a service that we never used. Considering all the situation, I felt so disappointed and almost stolen! I really work hard to save EUR 100 and I fell that someone just took that away. I had no real support, either from Agoda or from the hotel company! From our entire trip, this was a really bad experience! Linked with the hotel and also Agoda! We will never use the app anymore and we recommend you to find a company that can offer more than the standard service, but also really care about their customers!

Would of given a zero out of 5. Looked for travelodge and they hijacked my search, their calendar kept jumping so inadvertently booked the wrong dates, arrived at Travelodge to realise this and Travelodge were great and gave me their last room. Tried to contact Agoda impossible, had to contact via twitter but they refuse to refund even though date I actually booked is weeks away and Travelodge would of amended the booking no problem but they have had issues dealing with Agoda. Agoda eventually agreed to a credit note not a refund but I want my money back. I will raise a credit card dispute but would not use this company again under any circumstances, no customer service and no contact details. Awful Company very sorry to have accidentally used them

The company’s customer service people just GHOST Me!!! After the booking problem happened, this company swallowed my £100 deposit fee. I want to acclaimed the problem. But surprisingly the customer service people just GHOST me after three emails asking for my screenshots. That guy names Manual D. I don’t know who is the manager or something. You are proud of hiring such unprofessional and unresponsive people on site??? Such a pity. 🙂

Be warned: Agoda’s service is dreadful. They will take the money from your account immediately, they won’t email the confirmation, hotels do not deal with them directly and will refuse to recognise the booking. You can write as many messages/complains to the company asking for help – they will confirm the reception immediately, promise to get in touch soon and never respond. Eventually, you will have to pay the hotel charges and embark on a long legal procedure to get your money back from Agoda – if you are lucky. In few word – dreadful service and a disgraceful behaviour, use other, better services.
