    Experiences

Positives: The lobby staff is wonderful. We were upgraded to a room with a beautiful view upon check-in and the baggage porters were consistently friendly. The minibar is free and is restocked everyday. It is very nice to come back to the hotel after a long day and have drinks on hand already. The rooms are very comfortable and the AC is excellent. I am someone who keeps my home at 65 degrees F, and I was very comfortable. Location is second to none. You are located about a block from Tour Eiffel. We watched the light show from our window every single night. Negatives: Room service will nickel and dime you for every single thing. They charged me 5 Euros to bring silverware to the room and then wanted me to tip. Breakfast was good, but wildly over priced. If you are someone who gets cold easily, there is no AC control in the room. Bundle up.

This hotel is a 3 star not 4, our room was very small even though we upgraded to a superior Eiffel view room. There was mould all over the sealant along the window! Hiked in the net curtain. Carpet was filthy. The skirting was coming away from the wall in the entrance to the room. The service in the restaurant was very very slow, waited ages for food! & even longer to pay! The receptionist charges us for the room upgrade & then when we checked out we were charged for an extra night because she had not done the charge correctly! This was there error & should have been complimentary! Would not stay here again.

The staff is amazing! We arrived early and were sitting in the lobby half asleep. A nice young lady asked me my name to check on our room and checked us in early. The room is a little dated but the location is tough to beat: a block from the Seine and a 5 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. We had a great stay.

We booked a room with a terrace overlooking the Eiffel Tower for our honeymoon trip to Paris this time, but unfortunately, there were some minor mishaps. We arrived at the hotel for check-in at 12 o’clock in the afternoon, but the room was not ready, so we could only leave our luggage at the hotel. It wasn’t until we returned to the hotel at 12 o’clock in the midnight that we were informed our room was assigned to Room 318. Upon entering the room, we realized that the view of the tower was blocked, and the room was quite cold, which made us a bit unhappy. We then inquired at the front desk about the possibility of changing rooms, but were informed that the hotel was fully booked for the night and there might be other rooms available the next day after check-out. So, the next day after breakfast, we approached the front desk, and the hotel manager, Allie, was very helpful and immediately checked for available rooms, but unfortunately, all the rooms were occupied. Later, on our way back to the room, we noticed a room being cleaned, so we quickly sought assistance from Allie to change rooms, and finally, we were able to switch rooms! The new room no longer had a blocked view of the Eiffel Tower, and it was also warmer than the previous one. We were very happy to finally be able to change rooms. For those who come across this review and have booked this room, please remember to wait until check-in time to get a room with a better view. Even if you don’t get a high-floor room, you can request a room at the front or in the middle, as the view will be better. The first photo is Room 318, and the second photo is a room in the middle with a different view. Also, I am unhappy with the in room breakfast. Buffet breakfast in restaurant is good! But it’s totally not good in room. We order in room breakfast but only serve with some breads, fruits and two drinks only. When we order few more drinks, they charged us 34 euros for the extra drinks and the in room dining fee even though we have paid for breakfast. Each people need to pay 10 euros for the in room dining so that means 14 euros for the extra drinks which is ridiculous because I can drink a lot in restaurant. It is worthless having breakfast in room. Luckily, we only had the breakfast once in the room and only stayed for two nights.

Nice location, wonderful view of Tour Eiffel from the balcony, welcoming reception staffs, and delicious breakfast. Special thanks to Julie, the staff in the bar FRAME, for her being so helpful and friendly. However, the housekeeping kept failing to meet our expectations. Lack of standards for the room cleaning, you could easily notice different glitches left every day. Also, room request service call is no function. They replied to your call, but never came. Tried twice in different days. Luckily, the management valued our opinion and responded very quickly. Special thanks to Chloe!
