We hired a car at 12:30am for 2 whole weeks, I drove 1344 miles/2164 km and had the most perfect time for SUCH an amazing price. The car was clean, drove so smoothly and WOW did it help us. The car was returned in the same way that we took it, with a full tank of fuel and my deposit was cancelled/back with me so quickly. 2 weeks of heaven in Madeira, super thankful to Marcio for making this happen. Very good experience with picking up the car and returning it. The car itself with only 2000km on the odometer was in an excellent condition, immaculately clean, full tank of gasoline provided and with easy to operate navigation system. I can recommend Discover Cars as well as Kaizen Rent without any hesitation to everyone and especially to senior drivers since there is no additional fee for the age.

The staff are so kind and welcoming. They made everything to quick and easy. They even allowed us to pick up the car earlier as it was more convenient for us. They were very organised and so picking up and dropping the car took less than 10 minutes. They were thoughtful too as they turned the car on so the AC was cool when we left as it was already 40 degrees when we picked up the car.

What we liked: everything – easy pick up, easy drop off, and no hard-sell to buy insurance I don’t need. Most important, they were quick to respond when we had a flat tire and needed a tow and a replacement car. They sorted everything out within an hour or so. What we didn’t like: nothing. There were no complaints or issues.

However, make sure you have a credit card, otherwise you’ll be charged extra on the day, and make sure you know your documents in case they try charge you extra (like an additional driver we had free, they tried to charge us for). But overall was still a good service
