As a busy Vegan I appreciate the convenience of these ready to eat meals, and I had had to keep my families hands off them – as they were just for me this time! I definitely recommend the Purifying Purple Curry, the magical Mushroom Korma & Mash, the Supercharged Satay & Thea’s Deconstructed Moussaka – enjoy!

We had several problems with delivery and customer service. One box was left outside for four days as we did not get the usual text message that it was delivered and the online tracking kept saying that it was on its way! We requested a refund but got a discount on the next 8 boxes, forcing us to keep our subscription as we did not want to lose $180. We had the same issue with delivery 3 times. The last box we got was damaged, an ice pack was broken and spilled all over the meals and one meal was open. We keep trying to contact customer service but they are only open until 6pm and by chat. They take a long time to reply and do not offer refunds at all. We will not be recommending soulara. The food was great but the customer service is awful!

I used to order Soulara in 2020/2021 and everything was great. But they have now changed their website and I have had so many issues. They kept delivering the boxes on the wrong day (I picked Fridays) and the boxes arrive Tuesdays. At one point they delivered both Tuesday AND Friday. And then again the following Tuesday. We had to turn the box away as we couldn’t fit more meals into the fridge. I’m still waiting for the refund for this as it was their fault delivering on the wrong day!! (I had previously asked Customer Service via the chat to make sure the day is correct but that didn’t help). The first time meals were missing too and they tried to charge us $12 for shipping out the two meals which they forgot! This was fixed. Their phone number doesn’t work and waiting from the support email takes a very very long time. Terrible service. Have had to cancel as too many issues.

We used to order from Soulara years ago and the food was great. Recently gave them a crack again and the food was not great. Missing and wrong meals delivered, automatically subscribed to a weekly service without any consent to do so. When customer service finally got back to us, we were only offered credit on our account, no refund. Even with the credit on our account, we won’t be back to use it. Combination of terrible food and customer service means these customers have now gone elsewhere. I wish I’d read the reviews before throwing hundreds of dollars down the drain!

Soulara’s food is pretty good, and in my first few months my experience with the service was fine. But in recent months there have been numerous issues and the customer service has left a lot to be desired. Issues I’ve encountered in recent weeks include: being inexplicably sent (and charged for) an extra meal delivery in addition to my regular order. When I contacted and asked about this their response was to cancel my subscription (?). I then had to contact again to get this fixed, and never received compensation for this extra delivery I was charged for that I didn’t order. I’ve been sent deliveries which included wrong items, as well as items only a few days away from expiry. The website was down for several days without warning as they were instating a new site, and due to this I was unable to access my account to pause delivery for a week when I didn’t require it. The new system also doesn’t allow you to change your delivery day, I have tried to contact numerous times to have my delivery day changed and get the same copy paste response which describes steps that simply are not possible options on their new site. Soulara has a big menu with good variety compared to other vegan delivery options which is honestly the thing that’s kept me as a customer despite the rest of the experience being sub par. Due to these issues they are hard to recommend. I really hope Soulara get their act together soon. Its clear looking at other recent reviews that others are having similar negative experience.
