Experiences

Horrible experience. The petite short lady with long hair was super rude and wouldn’t help. I was inside the dressing room and asked for a size up. She snatched the piece from me and started helping out another customer, ignoring my request. I had to literally get dressed to come out of the dressing room to ask her again for my size. She literally shouted at me to “wait” because she was helping a customer, all this in front of the other customer. Not professional at all, especially from someone whose job is to “sell” (she was doing the exact opposite). Did not want to buy solely because of this rude disrespectful lady. Did not treat me like a customer. Regardless, the older lady was super nice.

Very disappointed with my last visit. Each time we go to Galeries Lafayette, it’s a ritual for me and my friend to stop at the Skims corner, where we are good customers. We are normally treated like princesses, with very friendly, attentive staff and lots of good advice! However, on our last visit (a Thursday afternoon), this was not the case AT ALL. We stayed at the corner for a good 1.5 hours and not once were we approached by a sales consultant, despite their large number. We did fittings, and the same thing, not a single person available around the booths, I actually needed sizes not available on the shelves, and even when my friend positioned herself in front of the booths to call out to a no-one advisor. came, while we were still in the cabins for half an hour, waiting for someone. This also seemed to be the case for other customers, who left their cabins to look for other sizes on the shelves, with varying degrees of difficulty. I don’t like to complain like this, but having been a sales consultant myself for a premium brand, I find it important to highlight this disastrous experience, contrary to all the previous ones I have had with the brand, so that this doesn’t happen again (especially for a “lingerie” brand where size advice is important).
