This company sold my domain out from under me even after using it for two years. They accepted my payment for the renewal within the correct time frame. Then, weeks later, refunded me and told me the domain had been sold to someone else. Non-appealable. Hard to believe that these people are allowed to operate legally in this country. Cannot WAIT for the inevitable class-action lawsuit. Sign me up!

Impossible for me to put Zero stars, so 1 it is. If you are searching for a domain name for your upcoming business, make sure to purchase the domain right away, or even better, use another service!! As soon as you search for a domain and then come back the next day, GoDaddy will have taken it from you and will resell it for $2600 instead of the $12 listing price the day prior. This practice should be illegal and after doing a bunch of research online, I’m not the only one with who this happened, there are plenty of Reddit threads about this topic.

I upgraded my hosting with Godaddy and they accidently deleted some of my critical data. My sites were down for over a week. Eventually a true expert fully recovered my account. Then Godaddy adjusted the price of some of my products to make up for the downtime and errors. They fully owned their mistake and fully corrected it. Even though it took a bit longer than I would have liked. Customer service was always a real person. I thought about switching to another provider but I have been with Godaddy since 2012 and the fact they were honest, real people, and corrected their mistake is going to keep me around as a Godaddy customer.
