I bought a scooter through Affirm. 60 days later the company goes bankrupt and moves out of their warehouse. I contact Affirm to stop my monthly payment and was told they can’t do anything because it’s been over 60 days. I have now submitted a complaint with DFPI. Absolutely ridiculous that they expect me to pay payments to them when I didn’t even get what I purchased. Do not use Affirm Update as of June 2024 I’ve now paid $4,000 to Affirm and have never received the merchandise I ordered. Because of their 60-day policy they won’t do a thing for me. My account is now paid off and I have no merchandise. Do not use this service They do not stand behind their customers. Disgusting that everyone else that was ripped off by the company I was got their money back because they used their credit cards to purchase. Their credit card companies automatically gave them their money back. Now I’m $4,000 out and they don’t care.

I went with this company for a loan. Had issues with the purchase I was making, so I canceled the order. Their overseas call center are very under qualified to handle customers issues as well as represent the company. Gave me misinformation as they say; lies I say! Spent a lot of time on the phone with them. Got hung up twice out of the eight calls. They give you excuses as to their procedure but, could not tell me the issue had already been resolved. Said I still had to wait. Through me taking more time and doing research the matter I found out had been resolved but, the customer care center did not know that. Would not recommend this company to anybody! Steer clear of this company they do not uphold their customer concerns and values posted on their website! Make sure they are reported to the BBB and FDIC. Also remember this under the law we as customers have a right to record them just as they do us. We also have the privilege of taking them to small claims court and suing them for interest and penalties; just like they charge us. Just make sure you have all documentation and proof. You do not need an attorney.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANY REASON. This company cannot even understand their own accounts. For instance, Telling me I made a payment on a certain date and then a full refund from Amazon after that was paid to them and then they say that I still owe them more money. I said, you literally just said you got a full refund from Amazon. So how can I owe you money if you received a refund? This is the sixth time on multiple accounts in the past 3 months that I’ve had problems with them not keeping the account straight. You might think it’s nice to be able to break down payments on Amazon but you’re asking for trouble. Not only are there interest rates absurd at 36% but they also are hitting your credit report with wrong information. And then you have to dispute it with the credit reporting agency. It’s another headache. India call centers are terrible at understanding things and are working from home so there’s tons of background noise such as banging or kids. I wish I could put this review on Amazon to save others. JUST DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

People with nothing to hide hide nothing! I am not surprised at these scathing reviews. I had a bad feeling after speaking with this company about selling my timeshare= something wrong. Very sleezy feel from Mathew and his fast talking, double talk sales tactics. I have to say THANK YOU to all of you that have taken time to write these honest reviews. I did not do business with them but got a very bad feeling speaking with their representatives because they would not disclose terms to me. BUYERS BEWARE of Affirm Travel and all of their subsidiaries! I really hope people read these reviews before doing business with Affirm any further on any level.

These people just reported an account on my credit report. I have never heard of them or even applied for anything from them. Now I am struggling to get them off my report. Called their call center and it was an awful experience. First you have to go through a lengthy script by a computer and when you finally get a hold of a human, it’s a heavily Indian accented person who barely speaks English. They ask a lot of personal questions that make you feel uncomfortable to share. It is totally a scam. Do not give them any of the information they ask. Feels like a Bee Keeper scam firm. IYKYK.
