Experiences

I can’t say enough good things about my experience during my recent visit to Darty. I wasn’t looking forward to it as I had to make a lot of decisions in terms of small and large appliances for the apartment I had just moved into. However, I was tremendously relieved by the help I received from CEDRIC in small appliances and LAURENCE with my washer and dryer. Both of them went above and beyond and then some- both at my initial visit and when I had to return a week later after the dryer that was delivered had issues. Since my French is poor, Cedric jumped in to help translate the issue to Laurence. They are my DREAM TEAM and I hope Darty sees the tremendous potential of these two wonderful salespeople who make me want to return to Darty!

I am not a fan of superstores but it’s so hard to find independents nowadays that I feel I have no choice. I had a very good experience with their after sales service for a product that failed and so I’ll put this review to pay that back. They also have a new thing where you pay €10 a month and they will repair all the big white goods in your home even if you didn’t buy it in darty. This seems like a good idea in a world where we don’t have the time to repair ourselves or search everywhere to find a technician or indeed to wait around all day for an unreliable person to *not* show up.

0 stars! I was looking for Xiaomi Smart Camera c200 that costs 40€ and here it was 80€. Why? Also I tried to ask the assistants all around and no one seemed to care or help. Lesson learned: DON’T GO HERE, PLEASE SHOP ONLINE. We go to shops like this so that the sales assistant can help us locate the products and to have some human interaction. The store was empty. I’m never going back again. No doubt why these companies will go “insolvent” soon and online stores are doing 200 times better. Quite disappointed!! Date of visit: May 11th, 2023 around 6:45 pm

Very poor service. No one to even ask you what you want. And if u r not with white skin, forget it. You cannot even find one product. I find the reaction of the sales people very racist. I have faced very bad expressions from those people where when I asked for a product to a sales person, he just turned back and left the place. It was very rude.. I have been there more than 3 times and my experience has been the same.
