ABSOLUTELY USELESS. My transcription project has been stuck on ‘Estimated arrival in 1h19m’ for the past 5 hours. When I made an enquiry about delivery and eventually got hold of an agent, the status suddenly changed to ‘Delayed’ with an estimated arrival time of a further 23 hours!!! The agent was quick to assist with my cancellation rather than doing their best to get the job done in time. Steer clear folks – unless you want to waste time and money.

I used it to transcribe 7 interviews into Portuguese and English – machine generated and not human reviewed. The options for comments, highlighting etc. are amazing and make the review process so easy and fun. The download was also very fast and I exported into a very well formated word document. It is a bit expensive but worth the price for what I needed.

The interface is intuitive and works well on mobile: I could quickly generate transcriptions during my way to work. Also I’m truly satisfied with the customer support: I posted a question to the chat, got automate message, which didn’t answer my question and soon I got a direct email from the company with a solution to my problem. And most importantly, the transcript is correct and with valid punctuation.

We are a mid-sized comms agency and always use HappyScribe’s Human service for all our subtitling needs. We’ve never been let down with super=speedy turnaround and only ever minimal tweaks required (usually to very business-specific lingo/names). Their interface is super-intuitive making it easy to make any amends and exporting.
