I buy a round trip flight from Amsterdam to Guadalajara with flexibility of change subject to fare for approx $16,000. 2. Fly to Mexico, all good 3. For personal reasons I want to change the return. 4. The site does not allow it, invites me to dial. 5. I dial, three times, approximately 45 minutes of waiting on each call. No answer. 6. I investigate and visit an Aeromexico branch, Plaza del Sol, Guadalajara. 7. They kindly tell me that the flight change costs me $19,000, the result of a fare adjustment. Curiously, at that moment, the flight from Guadalajara to Amsterdam costs $11,000. I can’t figure it out. 8. I ask for a partial refund or a voucher, and they kindly tell me that this is not possible. I leave. 9. I call the Dutch offices of Aeromexico. 10. In 3 minutes they answer me. 11. In 20 minutes I have a voucher, in euros, equivalent to half the original value of the flight. 12. With this voucher I am ready to buy another flight at Aeromexico.com.mx. 13. The site rejects the voucher because the currency is different from the purchase currency. 14. I go to the Aeromexico Holland site, the site has no option to enter a voucher number. 15. I call Aeromexico, wait about 30 minutes, no answer. 16. I call again, wait about 30 minutes, no answer. 17. I call again, lightbulb, and I press 1 to talk to an operator in English. 18. In two minutes Roberto (very kind) answers me and I explain my situation. 19. He kindly transferred me to another department where they helped me with my purchase. I must applaud the fact that Roberto spoke to the other representative and passed on my information, so I did not have to do it again, as it has happened to me 99% of the time I have been transferred. 20. After some juggling, my flight confirmation arrives in the mail. Now, regardless of the ridiculous amount of time I wasted, the following is what bothers me. Waiting times on the phone, only in Spanish. This shows racist treatment of people from your own country. Inability to solve a problem in Mexico, while in Holland everything was solved satisfactorily and reasonably. Again, this shows racist treatment towards the people of your own country. Fare abuse, please explain why the fare adjustment in Mexico is worth more than the entire flight, I do not understand. Lack of functionality on the website with regards to rescheduling and voucher entry, when evidently the company is trying to transfer all customer interactions to the web. At the very least they should have all the functionality available. Conclusion. I objectively conclude that Aeromexico treats its customers in a racist, abusive and negligent manner. I find it curious that on the verge of bankruptcy a company would be able to and consider it prudent to treat its customers this way.

for an overseas flight, this is the ONLY AIRLINE that does not allow you to check in luggage with the economy ticket. Had I known that before I would have never bought the ticket. We´re talking about a 12 hour flight, c’mon it´s not like you will go there for 2 days. As other have said, it feels like scam

Because my flight was canceled and I was therefore delayed 7 hours, I received a voucher for 300 dollars. Sounds nice, until I wanted to exchange it. I couldn’t redeem it on the website, so I had to make a reservation by phone. There they told me that 300 dollars is worth 5000 pesos mexicanos, which is not true. 300 dollars is about 6000 pesos. It also turned out that the trip when I booked it by telephone was much more expensive, plus reservation costs. In the end it turned out that because I wanted to buy 2 tickets, I ended up getting a 50 dollar discount compared to the price on the website plus all reservation costs. Made happy with a wash and sorry, I feel ripped off.

That’s bad, I try to reserve seats and it doesn’t work and when you send an email you get 1 answer like we need more information, I emailed everything again and they haven’t heard anything again. Never again.
