Love Spriggy. Easy to use and keep track of my teenager’s spending. The only downside is that it takes up to 5 days to top up the parent wallet if it is not the regular scheduled weekly top up. This can create issues if child needs to make an immediate purchase and there are not enough funds.

Ordered a card for my daughter. Topping up by debit card didn’t work on the app so I kept trying. No funds were showing in my parent account, or my child’s account. when I looked in my bank account over $400 was taken from my account and is just missing…. It’s impossible to talk to anyone… frustrating scam! Got on Chat with Scarlett – she advised she had corrected this and that funds were now in my parent account but still showed a zero balance

So much drama because my child had $10,000 going in and out of her account and then trouble upgrading and then turns out our account had too much money going in and out of it just to support pocket money for our kids! Then at your service centre has been diligent, but his advice has not always considered All of the facts. We are extremely dissatisfied with this app and will return to a regular bank as soon as we get organised.

Not happy about this service. My son created an account and had a card sent without any adult consent, how is this possible? Tried calling these guys and there is no phone support it has to be done online. I can see how this can great in the right circumstances but the fact kids can sign up without Adult consent or ID is a huge concern. Parents beware. In this day and age where credit scores are important for our kids future, this app has zero responsibility or strict guidelines in place.

We had Spriggy accounts for our kids. We are going overseas for Christmas this year and the kids have been doing jobs, saving all their birthday money, collecting cans etc to save for the trip for the last 12 months. We have just discovered that Spriggy has a maximum amount of $999 that can be in the account. With the combined savings across multiple kids, we have hit this limit so we can no longer add any money. This completely undermines the idea of encouraging kids to save money (not just spend!!). It is very disappointing. We have closed our accounts and will move to another option that is much more flexible.
