#flixbus Your bus driver apparently fell asleep but crashed on the A61 hwy on June 24, 2024 at approximately 130a from Lyon to Paris, as me and my daughter were coming back from the Coldplay concert. We (all passengers) were left stranded on the side of the road for nearly 2 1/2 hrs until another bus came to drive us 10m to then switch to get on another bus to get back to Paris at 9a. We missed our flight and then needed to puchase new tickets to get to our next destination. I have sent 3 emails to your online customer (lack of) support section on your website and no one has bothered to follow up. I called in and a representative said you have a high volume of calls. Not sure what is more important than looking to resolve what could have been a quite deadly experience for the 60-70 passengers on board. I am upset at the lack of customer support and service. I had to give this a 1 star to post but 0 stars was not an option.

We were to take a bus from Rouen to Paris then take a train in Paris to travel to the South of France. We received an automatic text message 15 minutes prior to departure informing us that the bus will be an hour late. We ended up paying for last minute train tickets from Rouen to Paris and almost missing our train in Paris. We were told by a bot that no refund will be done for delays under 2 hours (even though the delay was of 1 hour for a trip that usually takes 1.35).

On April 28, 2024, I traveled from Paris (Bercy Seine) to London (Victoria Coach Station) via a FlixBus service, with a departure time of 10:15 (Paris time) and an arrival time of 18:55 (London time). My booking reference number for this particular trip is 315 443 4163, route 700. Unfortunately, upon my arrival in London, I realized that I had inadvertently left my suitcase in the luggage compartment of the bus. The suitcase in question is a medium-sized black one with four wheels, displaying some minor scratches, and branded “Newcom.” Immediately upon recognizing my mistake, I hastened back to the station within a mere 10 minutes, only to find that the bus had already left. Despite my swift actions to retrieve the suitcase, which included visiting the station on the evening of April 28 and again on April 29, as well as lodging a report with FlixBus’s lost and found department (report reference number: 37302145), there have been no updates or leads regarding its whereabouts. It has now been more than two weeks since my first contact with the lost and found service. The inability to find my suitcase, which was left in the luggage compartment of your bus, for such an extended period is unacceptable. This lack of professionalism on your part is simply unacceptable. I vividly remember the driver who operated the route and have provided all relevant details. Despite suggesting the possibility of contacting the bus driver, FlixBus declined to do so, citing privacy concerns. While I acknowledge my own error in leaving the suitcase behind, I am profoundly dissatisfied with FlixBus’s approach to resolving this matter. I believe the company’s actions—or lack thereof—could be construed as negligence. Consequently, I am considering taking legal action to address this situation.

Very poor bus service, constantly delayed!! The details are unclear for stops. In Biarritz you’re told to wait at the airport when the stop is a 5min taxi ride away at Halle Iraty. Even airport information aren’t aware and tell you to wait at the only airport bus stop. No help from Flixbus. You’re left at the mercy of taxis and need to buy extra tickets 😡 avoid this company if you can help it 👎 time to improve Flixbus! It’s not for no reason you’re getting consistently low reviews.

Worst experience ever in my life !!!!!!!! First, I paid extra money for my seat (with table), of course my seat was already occupied and I got the seat for disabled people which was very uncomfortable!!! Second of all and the most important, after a small break of couple of minutes, the driver left the fuel station without some passengers 😑😑😑 They were running after the bus and he refused to stop and take them. WHILE ALL their luggage were still in the bus. His answer was “sorry, to late”. I am in shock after this experience and for sure I will never use FlixBus Again!!!! P.s to mention, the driver was a young man who was speaking only france (he was definitely not a france as origin) and very very arrogant!!!
