I need to close my account from overseas I do NOT have a phone number. The app does not work and crashes any time I try to use it.

We would like to hear that Sue B has been advised of this feedback we have done because of her committment to us as long term Westpac Customers. Very well done Sue and we thank you once again. The other issue from Steve & myself is WHY is there not an option for Positive Feedback and not giving focus to just the negative – please review this as the world is not such a happy place and when we get service as above then it should be easy to let you know how this Employee Represents you – The Westpac Bank so well with all I said above. I have been given a complete run-around by both the Elsternwick and head office branch. No one answers calls and I am about to complain to the Banking Ombudsman. Westpac is holding on to money with no lawful excuse.

This review is in regard to Bank Melbourne, which is owned by Westpac – I Would give 0 stars if I could. ignored signatures on paperwork, refused to give info about my mortgage to myself, and took over 3 weeks to process what should take 3 hrs. refused and “forgot” to cancel cards when acct at $0. call centre is overseas, and they will ignore your requests and do nothing. they then cut you off. will not xfer to a manager. I have reported them to the ombudsman and the ABA, and have engaged my lawyer due to a loss of a house sale because they dragged their feet for no reason. put simply, crooked and fraudulent.

Really gone downhill in the last few years in terms of customer service. Can’t answer a phone or respond to a complaint. They locked my accounts with an absolutely impossible method of calling back so I had no access to banking for a week. Made an online complaint (as you cant call) and unsurprisingly no response. Time to move my money – I’d advise people to do the same.
