Experiences
Was told to come 15 minutes early before our session. But once arrived, was told to wait outside. If there was a waiting section it would’ve been good. Food was delicious . However, they ran out of time and only served 5 sushi selections when clearly said they were offering 8 sushi selections as part of the dinner course. Service by the staff was perfect, they were extremely polite and friendly. Atmosphere was cosy and we were seated in a private area which was awesome.

This is definitely the place if you are looking for an amazing fine dining experience or celebrating a special occasion. The atmosphere was very moody and romantic. We sat up at the chefs kitchen and watched our meal being prepared. I found the service a bit sporadic at times, with it varying between tentative and then sometimes a bit slow, but overall quite good. The cocktails and mocktails were unreal and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The food quality was impeccable and delicious. Parking can be a bit of a challenge, timed and in narrow side streets. Definitely recommend booking as this place is quite popular.

It was great to be back at Yakikami after a while! The familiar warmth and bustle of the restaurant welcomed me back like an old friend. The customer service remains stellar, as always. While the oysters I tried today fell a bit short in terms of freshness and texture, everything else has always been fantastic at Yakikami. Perhaps it was just an off day. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience, and I’ll definitely be back for another try soon, maybe for some of their amazing

Very amazing night !!! the best chouchin I’ve ever had!!! sashimi was so fresh and all the meat were tasty! Always love the tails and meatball!! 🤩Service were pretty nice and sweet too! Dessert I love toufu pudding ! Softtttt Definitely will come back again ^ ^

Best Yakitori in Melbourne for sure!! Every single skewers were fully flavoured. Perfectly cooked. Just one thing, I wish them, please improve more about customer service. Maybe I wore bit cheap clothing 😝 anyway, even customer wear cheap clothing, they must treat the customer same way!!
