I’ve been looking for days for reason to leave a good review but even with a torch and my glasses on I couldn’t find one. A really unhelpful and uncaring company, when it comes to travel insurance and support. Now I’ve never looked into making a claim before but, having now found out I’d broke my ankle, emailed them to ask if I was entitled to seek medical intervention and support? There first response was one of acknowledgement and “we’ll get back to you within 20 days” 😂😂😂 but they did reply to say they couldn’t advise and I needed to read the terms and conditions of my policy? Now, I don’t know about you but I can nearly take the engine out of a car or drive for 600 miles to somewhere I’ve never been to befits! But reading a travel insurance policies T&C’s is not my forte but shame on me for asking for help or guidance? 😡 So if you want travel insurance, where you’ll recieve no help, support or guidance then Admiral are the one for you! Otherwise try Fred’s insurance on the high street. Useless company and useless customer service. I spent 8 days hobbling around with a broken ankle, thanks Admiral for FA

I don’t do many reviews. But someone bumped into my van and it’s the first time I have had to put in a claim. They were great, fast, easy to get in contact with, good online features to add pictures ect… I hope not to need to claim again but there are no hassle. All settled very fast

TO CUT A LONG STORY SHORT….. ISH to cut a long story short. 3 weeks ago i ran a quote for a land rover i was considering buying through EVERY uk search engine. On every occasion Admiral came top of the lists by a fair amount. THIS WAS THREE WEEK AGO. i was coincidentally already a customer with them so changed over the ‘new car’ to the old policy knowing the new policy was die soon and hoping for an equally favorable renewal. CAN YOU GUESS WHAT CAME NEXT…. 3 weeks later i got the renewal. NO CHANGE in any circumstances what so ever. the renewal was £500 more expensive than it had been 3 weeks ago… i rang and spent 2 hours being passed from pillar to post. i also ran the car through every online web site again. this time strangely ADMIRAL were no where on the search engine. this time it was TESCO… every result showed they were now chasing my business. this is how a company hooks you in then ‘SHAFT’ you come renewal the fact that ADMIRAL would not quote on the latest search shows the new UK law forbidding Insurance companies penalizing existing customers over ‘new business’ is working…. show no loyalty to any company and use the search engines… loyalty is not valued by this faceless companies… needless to say i am no longer with ADMIRAL.. be interesting to see if next year they want me back

I’ve been a customer for almost 5 years and I’ve never been involved in an accident, I’ve never made a claim. At the end of last year I renewed my policy annually and also included a second car in my policy (on the Admiral app they say they grant 15%, but in fact there is no such discount). I spoke to an attendant but it was impossible to proceed. This attendant was completely unprepared (she was in training) and constantly interrupted the call and consulted someone else (a boss or supervisor) about my questions, as she didn’t know how to answer them. It was impossible to understand what she was saying (she had very bad diction as if she was eating all the time). She interrupted me all the time, not letting me speak. Extremely rude and without technical knowledge. I was on the phone for almost an hour, they didn’t resolve what I wanted and they even hung up on me. She could never work in customer service. This company has the worst customer service in the UK. I would not recommend this company to anyone unless you want to be very disrespected. I’m going to cancel my policy, it doesn’t include my second car in the main policy and my two daughters didn’t take out insurance with Admiral, meaning they lost four customers. And I am reporting what happened to all my personal friends and those at my company. He has to learn how to work and respect people.
