If there were a no star option that is what I would choose. Your name suits your service your way or the highway. Been with you guys for over 2 years and then when it came to claiming only half my cars damages were repaired. After telling you the car is not right and the panel beaters put in a second claim it was rejected. Then the nerve of it all we receive an email because of our claim history you may cancel or increase our premium. This was the first accident claim. The other claims were for tyres and rims (we live in south Africa 🇿🇦 have u seen our roads.) My fridge broke during covid times that claim was also rejected saying poor maintenance yet you never asked for service receipts. All these claims are different parts of insurance packages. So nice to collect MONEY on time every month yet be petty on claims. What I paid you over the years far outweighs the 1 claim approved. I would call you a mafia insurance. I am responding 1 month after my incident because of how angry I was. My husband has now canceled all insurances with you and I have taken insurance with my bank….. you lost a client and many more as word of mouth and referrals are what ppl lean towards these days. You use to be so good before looking at your rating I am not the only upset client you have lost

Given that this company is disgusting in their sales tactics, I’d assume that this culture permeates all aspects of their business. I am persistently getting spam calls from MiWay. I have never agreed to be contacted by them, and as of my last call the agent ended the call before I could even ask where they obtained my number from. I’ve asked to be removed from their call list before, so at this point it’s bordering on harassment. If their acquisition of sales leads is questionable, and “sales” is bordering on harassment, I’d hate to try make an insurance claim. Edit: In response to MiWay, no, I have no wish to give you any further contact details as I have no wish to receive email spam from you. You have proven to be unethical in handling of requests as is, so I can only assume that this would continue. Fix your system so that removal requests to sales staff are processed at call time. Secondly, vet your leads appropriately, if another review is correct on the source of your leads, I have directly requested that they remove me before, yet it would appear they have not. They were also unable to provide proof that I had requested to be contacted, nor were they able to supply me the source of my information. Your reviews are scattered with reports of your sales behaviour so it’s not a one off, nor a mistake. This is a deliberate business decision on your part to have sales agents lie about removal from contact lists. Fix your company instead of trying to pacify individuals. Further update: MiWay call centre agents have a script claiming POPI compliance for removal requests, and state that I have been removed, but I have received a further call a week later. At this point, please harass everyone so MiWay goes under, if you can’t even manage a contact list, I really do wonder what you can do right.

These guys give quick and friendly sales service when they want you to sign up, but the moment you need to claim they disappear. Sent multiple messages and called, was told they would get back to me but they never did. Emailed to cancel my policy and still did not get a response. Cancelled the debit order on my bank and they WhatsApp me telling me I didn’t pay so I have no cover. It seems like I never had any cover to start with. I would not recommend Miway business insurance to anyone.

Dear Mi-Way Your relentless calling is now starting to border on harassment. I receive 1 to 2 calls a day from you. Thankfully the weekend brings some relief from you. You do reallise that most of us have downloaded caller ID apps because of companies like yours!!! Please enough is enough, if someone has said no or has not picked up your call after the second call take the hint and remove the number off your call list. Now before you respond with the standard sorry please send a DM so we can remove you, please rather respond with a number we can call or email address we can send to remove us (and we shouldn’t have …) Stop
