Experiences
WORST experience with Loot ever! It all started with trying to purchase a food processor after returning my food processor that broke. I received no communication whatsoever that apparently the supplier was out of stock. I had to find this out by calling them. I then get a voucher from Loot so I decide to buy a rechargeable fan from their site and it arrives on the 16th February with a broken charging cable and a charging block from another brand which wasn’t supposed to be in the box. So evidently the seller just sent it without assessing it when it was CLEARLY returned due to a broken cable. I logged a return and since the 16th of February, I am still waiting for my replacement fan to be sent to me (looks like i might receive it just in time for winter). I was told on Friday 16th February at 15:48 by a manager that this would be prioritised. Today 28 February I am still waiting. This was definitely not prioritised. Let’s not forget them saying I still owe money (as they didn’t allocate my voucher to the order) before they ship the fan, which meant it was another call from my side for them to fix this issue because I didn’t owe any money. No one replies to emails! I have to call to try get an answer and then shortly after my call, I receive a response to my email. This is certainly NOT how you should be communicating with your customers. Again proving the lack of customer service from Loot.

I have been a very satisfied customer of Loot for over four years now. Unfortunately that changed today. A package I have ordered, has not been delivered since Monday as promised. I’m used to “your order is out for delivery” emails, I receive my packages on the same day. Loot is using a new courier company which is absolutely pathetic. You can’t even track my parcel! Please, Loot, do something about your poor courier service or I will take my business elsewhere!

I have used Loot many times for several years. I have been largely happy with the service. Now for the last 3 days I have been unable to use their website. I am getting multiple error messages when I try to search. How can an online retailer operate with a non- functional website???

Not trustworthy – be careful when ordering from them. It took them over a month to let me know that the product I had ordered has apparently been discontinued, and yet they still advertise it on their website. When the replacement finally arrived, it was faulty. It has been over 3 weeks since I requested a refund, and almost 3 months since I placed my order, with nothing to show for it. Loot, my order number is rdfp-395-b170. I’m not interested in an empty apology as you clearly don’t care about your customers. I just want my money back, and for you to stop misleading people on your website.

Will never ever make use of Loot. Waiting on my product delivery for 3 weeks and every email I sent is ignored Phoned support no real explanation or help just saying my queey had been escalated. Paid for something I dont have kinda messed up if you tell me and no one can direct you to a solution. I just want my product delivered as promised with two different delivery dates already.
