Experiences
This was my kind of place. You could wander around the market without being hassled, enjoying the crafts on sale, including some fantastic art and beautiful clothes. For me, it was more about experiencing the food. Each stall was serving something different. It was well priced and allowed you to pick a few things and share them whilst enjoying the beautiful surroundings and a couple of drinks. Be aware that whatever you buy, you must finish on site, no alcoholic takeaways are allowed. It gets busy, but due to the outside space, you dont feel overwhelmed. There is enough room for everyone to enjoy it. 100% recommend.

Amazing vibe and atmosphere with families sitting outside in the grass and having fun. Big restaurant upstairs for a more quite eating experience with a Sunday buffet for R249 per person.

What an awesome place. It caters for everyone including dogs… This was my 1st time going and as I got out of the car, I was captivated by the surrounding views and vineyards. Its so picturesque. And as we approached the building I was thinking why have I never been to this place. I was so impressed. My friends and I couldn’t decide if we should sit in the restaurant or do the market.. I love markets and after just walking through it for 5min, I already knew I didn’t want to go to the restaurant. The market is vibey and has so much to offer.. choices of food isn’t always good as it makes it hard to decide. I love the flow of it, the atmosphere is great. The is this buzz that is contagious. Every stand has attractive displays of their food and it caters for all pallets. From Korean, to pizza, to burgers, ribs, sushi, Wraps.. you name it, they have it. Also some amazing desserts. You are truly spoilt for choice. Then the are non food stands, they have art, clothes, shoes, jewellery, books and more. The variety of drinks and wines, which is the only alcohol sold. No beers or other hard liquor. That is sold in the restaurant only. It’s a great place for kids and they have beautiful lawns and water fountains which the kids enjoy. You can also picnic under the umbrellas or trees with your blanket. You cannot bring in any food or drink as it can only be purchased there. You cannot leave with any alcohol either. So if you bought a bottle of wine, you have to finish it there or leave it behind, if you are leaving the market.. You are allowed to bring your dog, as long as they are kept on a leash. There are lovely watering fountains for them too, which is great All the places I was at only took bank cards and no cash, I am not sure if this is for all the places but just keep that in mind.. If you are a big family, it can be pricey. Some places are little bit more expensive than others. I had a Korean platter and it was R150 and it was worth it, I couldn’t finish all of it so, if you not a big eater, you could share it… I absolutely loved this place and will definitely go back. You can easily spend an entire day here, specially when it’s a beautiful day as we had…

A really wonderful experience! Not your everyday market – something far more breathtaking. It is an under cover market in a modern building with a lovely garden to walk around and just relax and watch the scenery – including a vineyard on the hill nearby. Not forgetting the wide variety of culinary delights and live music. Upstairs there is a restaurant with a separate sports bar and wine tasting area too. A truly enjoyable day out.

A definite visit. Laid back with great food and stalls to buys quality products. Take a picnic blanket or enjoy a little more luxury when you go upstairs to eat in one of the restaurants upstairs. Before or after lunch enjoy the upstairs art gallery. Enjoy the piano or saxophone playing in the the background. Lovely place to enjoy a Sunday outing with the family.
