Made it in without a reservation but would probably recommend one if going. If you can’t decide what to eat just get the set menu. Food here was quite good. I think the entries stood out much more than the mains. The brisket felt like a let down as it was too dry for my liking. The lobster Mac and cheese was also not really appealing either. All the drinks were excellent and all the sides were delicious even the bread.

Just wow! Hidden in a basement, this steak place is incredible. We managed to squeeze in for an express lunch and can highly recommend as great value. The garlic bread with truffle is to die for, the wine list is great, staff are amazing and the dimly lit atmosphere is epic. Go ahead, treat yourself!

Been here a few times, the food is consistently good. The Maiden’s Mood is good value, but this time we elected to do a la carte in order to get a better steak option. Big fan of the grilled bread with cowboy butter and the burnt ends are always a favourite. The Coppertree eye fillets were well cooked and the cut of meat was pretty good but a bit tougher than I expected. The bearnaise and three pepper sauces were nice, would have preferred on the side rather than on top of the steak. For sides we had the charred greens and hand cut chips which were great. Service was good and overall a good experience.

Incredible steak, good vibes, ok service We did the set menu for $95pp + upgraded to waygu and lobster mac and honestly it was a very nice night. Biggest let down was the lobster mac, tasted like powered mac & cheese and the bar seating was the most uncomfortable seating I’ve ever experienced. Service was ok, I feel like we were forgotten about sitting way at the end of the bar. The steak is melt in-your-mouth amazing, the butter served with the bread was my favourite of the night and the tuna entree dish had incredible flavours. 🤩🤩 I’d go again however have to be very certain not to rebook the bar seating!
