WORST INVESTMENT ever – WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced I wouldn’t have enough space to write everything appalling that has happened to me with this company. I paid deposit in January 2023, crickets for 3 months until someone finally got back to me with an April 2023 install – by June I had sent a comprehensive email outlining the endless issues with 5 of the 6 blinds I purchased. Once someone finally got back to me the nightmare began. I have allowed the screenaway team to come and attempt to rectify the issues at least 8 times and they still refuse to give me a refund repeatedly saying “we would like the opportunity to rectify, we do not agree to a refund” this is the correspondence I had last week April 2024 a year after the initial install. The blinds are horrible quality, the install was sloppy and the issues go on and on: My windows do not have ‘frames/recesses’ for the blind to be installed into so in short they have absolutely no structural integrity. The gaps where the blind frame was stewed into my wall has been filled with silicon strip after silicon strip to stop the light leaking through – it has not worked. There are visible screws just sloppily screwed into my wall and ceilings. Tape was used to hold a piece together. The caps on the ends pop off. The frame was hacked into to fit a screw. My carpet has been cut several times so they screw into it to hold the leg of the frame down. The frame is not square so when the blind gets to the bottom there is a huge gap and crinkles at the top so the skin is ruined. Not to mention there were three occasions the installer turned up with a replacement skin and it was the wrong size. They do not run smooth and catch on the way up causing the skin to regularly pop out of the frame. All the black fluff stuff to stop light leaking in frays everywhere – each time I ask for it to be replaced and it hasn’t been. With over a year dealing with this company and my extensive evidence of a product that is not fit for purpose because there was no frame to build it into while giving them at least 8 attempts to rectify they are still asking for more chances and refusing a refund. Appalling customer service – I paid over $7k for all my blinds and that was at a discount because as many others have said the sales man pushed for deposit then and there on the first visit. I have attached photos and am at a loss as to how this company can refuse me a refund when I have given them over a year and adequate amount of attempts to rectify to only have the product worse than when they started. The only one I have that remotely works or looks flush is the tiny one in my bedroom that was installed in a recess so has structural integrity. I’m at a complete loss with this company it has caused me so much stress. Photos attached

They’re like beacons for sunlight, flooding the room with an unbearable amount of brightness. The installer casually mentioned that our window and sill might be tilted, as if it were no big deal. It’s beyond frustrating that this wasn’t flagged during the initial or follow-up measurements. And don’t even get me started on their flimsiness. A gentle breeze is all it takes to send them flying out of place. I’ve had to practically overhaul my entire ventilation system and seal every window just to fend off the tiniest drafts. But wait, there’s more! For the exorbitant price they charge, you’d expect top-notch quality, right? Wrong. These blinds are a joke. They’re practically falling apart at the seams, and it’s only been a few months since installation. As if the subpar product wasn’t bad enough, the customer service is a nightmare. Dealing with them is like pulling teeth, and the installers? Let’s just say they could use a crash course in manners. And to add insult to injury, our saga with these blinds has been dragging on since October, with no end in sight. Avoid at all costs! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY & TIME!!
